Carrie Figard

I am a Special Instructor at Kid In Development Services, serving Charleston County. I recently moved to South Carolina from Pennsylvania where I also worked in Early Intervention as a Special Instructor. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and am a licensed elementary and preschool teacher. I came to KIDS with years of early childhood and parent coaching experience. Before working in Early Intervention, I worked in the Head Start and Early Head Start program first as a home-based teacher and then as the supervisor for the home-based team. I have taught kindergarten, art, and preschool, and continue to teach parenting education classes. I have a deep passion for partnering with parents to help their children meet their developmental goals. I have had the great joy and privilege of raising four children and now have fun spending time spoiling my six grandchildren.
